Basil’s Buddies is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit animal welfare organization. The purpose
of our group is to improve the lives of domesticated and companion animals and to help
end the overpopulation of homeless domesticated animals by utilizing alternatives to
euthanasia.
We are a non-traditional, no-kill rescue that specializes in emergency rescues, medical
rescues, special needs animals, and senior pets. We also run an animal hospice for
terminally ill pets who need a loving, supportive home during their final days.
We provide many services to the public. We run a pet food bank for low-income
individuals, monthly mobile low-cost vaccine clinics that are open to the public, and a
monthly pet loss support group.
